Dear Power Writers,
I am thrilled to announce that my firstborn daughter, Lia, was engaged this past week to a wonderful Godly young man from her church. His name is Peter, and he is the son of a pastor.
This engagement is a magnificent testimony to God’s faithfulness. Ever since I learned I was pregnant with Lia, I have been praying that, if God planned for her to marry, He would send her a man who loved God with all his heart and soul and who would cherish my precious daughter. Well, God has answered my prayer of 35 years in His own time and in His own marvelous way. Glory to His Holy Name!
We have begun wedding preparations with great excitement. I will keep you posted. 🙂
And now on to our writing! 🙂 Today I would like to discuss the topic of faithfulness in our writing. Sometimes answers to our writing prayers seem long in coming. We work hard, submit, and receive only rejection after rejection. Often we may wonder if God even remembers we’re here writing for Him. We are sometimes tempted to give up. But, as with my Lia, things can turn around in a single day.
So keep persevering. Let us not grow weary in our writing, for in due season, we shall surely reap if we do not faint.
