Worry or Worship?

While watching a program on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), I heard a profound statement: “It’s impossible to worry and to worship at the same time”. WOW! That was a word in season just for me!

Worry is focusing my eyes on my problem, but worship is focusing my eyes on God. Worry keeps me a prisoner; worship sets me free. Worry torments me; worship sets my feet a-dancing! 🙂

When I worry, the flow of my writing may slow down or even stop. When I worship, the flow of my writing will turn into a flood of creativity.

Are you worrying or worshipping? The choice is yours!

  1. Thanks MaryAnn for a word in due season. When I get out of my own and God’s way by trusting Him to provide His grace, He blesses us abundantly. May we tear down all walls of worry and receive His gifts of creativity and hope so we may lead others to His light and love.

  2. I was worrying before I read your post. But God spoke to me through you and your words.

Now, this very moment, I am worshiping. My heart is dancing and my writing is rearing to go.

Disparate ideas for my article (due tomorrow)are gelling into a whole piece to be used by God to reach a waiting heart.
