Are you in bondage? Are you a slave to a bad habit, a sin, a person, a job, or a situation? If so, I declare to you this day that Jesus has set you free!
Perhaps the freedom Jesus earned for you resonates on an intellectual level. If so, that’s good, but it’s not enough. The freedom Jesus died to give you must resonate on an emotional and psychological level in order for you to experience it.
You see, we can believe in God with our heads but not with our hearts, and it will do us no good. Even the devils believe in God (James 2:19). In order for us to receive from God, we must know that we know that we know that He will accomplish what He has promised us. There is no room for maybe.
God often deals in anointings. An anointing is an impartation of power from the Most High to one of His servants in order for God to accomplish His purpose through that servant. For example, if we are called by God to write, then we have His writing anointing. In other words, we have His power to write whatever He has called us to write.
To do anything without God’s anointing is to court disaster. We can do nothing in and of ourselves. Without the anointing, what we do will fall flat on its face. But, oh! When God’s anointing is present on our writing, it will break yokes of bondage as our readers read our words (Isaiah 10:27).
If your writing is suffering, perhaps you’re missing the anointing. If so, ask God to grant it to you. But remember, you must ask for His sake, not yours.
