Writers are dreamers. We dream up stories and articles and poems. We walk around with visions in our heads, so much so that relatives and friends sometimes question our sanity. If you’re like me, your mind is often “elsewhere” and you must force yourself to come back to reality to answer a simple question.
This is creativity at work, the imagination at its best. As writers, we set our sights on things beyond the daily routine, on things beyond the usual. But as Christian writers, we need to set our sights on those things that are truly on high, for without a heavenly vision, our earthly one will lack life. That life is called the anointing of God.
Seek first His kingdom, then life will be added to your writing.
