Although I know many of you personally, there are just as many whom I never met. I’d like to dedicate this blog post to meeting all of you. Please post a comment telling us who you are, what you write, and anything else you’d like us to know about you.
I look forward to reading your posts!
Blessings,
MaryAnn
Hi MaryAnn,
What a great idea. Somehow I wish I could meet in person all the friends I’ve made online. But this is a good start.
I am a Christian wife and mom with six children. My oldest just got married, my next is getting ready to leave on the mission field for a one year stint. The next four I homeschool. We live rurally and attempt to provide all we can for ourselves on our modest land.
I write magazine articles mostly, about homeschooling and homesteading. I also write devotionals and essays. My credits include Home Education, BackHome, Grit and The Country Register. I have a couple book ideas and recently started blogging in the attempt to build a platform for my writing.
My blog is EverythingHomeWithCarol and I’d love to meet you all there, too.
Blessings to you,
Carol

Hi MaryAnn –
First and foremost, I’m a child of the King. I’m a widow, stepmom, daughter, friend, and…oh yeah, a writer.
My first love is non-fiction. The Lord blessed me with opportunities to write devotionals and short articles. Now, I’m taking the plunge into fiction. I have a long way to go, but I’m enjoying the journey.
Blessings,
Susan 🙂

Hi MaryAnn,
I am a Christian, and wife of 29 years to Jeff, mom to Tim, dil Jessica, and grandma to their son Evan, and mom to David and Becky. I am a writer, and I consider myself blessed to have met you all those years ago through the NJ Society of Christian Writers. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship:)
I currently write mostly articles and web content, and enjoy writing for my blog. Someday I plan on writing a historical fiction novel.
Thanks for letting us share with you and your readers.
Blessings,
Karen

I am a wife, mom and math teacher who has always wanted to be a “real” writer but had too many other responsibilities to give the time that writing requires.
I always knew that the time would come when God tap me on the shoulder and say, “Now!” but I thought that time would be after I retired. Instead, it was when my first child was born!
I actually did an informal interview on my writing friend Michelle Gregory’s blog about the fantasy novel I’m writing.
I’ve also written several devotionals for our local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) chapter newsletter and have published a couple of how-to articles.
Thank you for the constant reminders that this whole creative process isn’t about meeting our own needs, but serving the God who has gifted us in such a special way.
