Peace Is a Person

Well, we were at 15 inches of snow the last time we measured. We probably ended up at around 17 inches total. Check out our fountain below: 🙂 Would love to hear from you in your own Winter Wonderlands! 🙂

Today, I’d like to talk a little about peace. No matter what is going on around us, we can have peace. Interestingly, peace is not a feeling. It is a Person. Peace is the Holy Spirit within us, giving us answers to our every need. Peace is having the right answers all of the time. Holy Spirit will give us right answers all of the time if we turn to Him for the answers.

In John 14:26-27, Jesus says, “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

The peace that Christ sent to us is Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity. He is a Person. He is the Spirit of Truth. He will lead us into all truth regarding every situation, including our writing.

Turn to Him with your every question. Listen to Him for your every answer.

  1. Thank you MaryAnn for the reminder. The more I depend on His Presence His Peace permeates my life. The words He gives might not always seem right at the time but as I depend on Him I see that they were just right for that moment.
