Writing from God’s Heart

Some writers follow trends. They write what the market demands.  Other writers never follow trends. They write what they want to write.  Both approaches have evidence supporting their validity.

Yet, as followers of Christ, there should be only one type of writing we do — and that is, we should be writing what is on God’s heart.

We are tools of Christ, instruments to be used by Him to write what He wants to say through us.  In order to know what Christ wants to write through us, we must know Him. And we get to know Him by remaining continually in His Presence.

If you’re wondering what to write today, ask Jesus. He has just the article, story, or poem He wants to write through you.
