As a Certified Life Coach, Dr. MaryAnn has 20 years of experience coaching both individuals and businesses. She has successfully helped clients from all over the world find and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Dr. MaryAnn offers two coaching packages:
- Half-Hour Session: $60
- One-Hour Session: $120
The number of sessions depends entirely on you. Some clients like to be coached weekly; others, bi-weekly. Coaching works best with either of these two options since results are achieved more quickly.
Coaching sessions continue until you feel you have achieved your coaching goals. Most clients find their goals reached after six months of coaching. Some, after three months. Others after a year or more. The length of time depends on your needs and your satisfaction.
Coaching is done by telephone and includes unlimited email correspondence between sessions. The client will be given a prep form before each session and a follow-up report after each session.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the session, except in the case of an emergency. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a charge for the session.
It is advisable to commit to coaching for a minimum period of three months for maximum benefit. Fewer sessions, however, are gladly offered.
Former clients may schedule “booster sessions” on a one-time basis for specific needs.
If you are interested in being coached, please contact Dr. MaryAnn at email@example.com to schedule an appointment or simply to have your questions answered.
Dr. MaryAnn also offers group coaching sessions by telephone for individuals who share a common interest–such as aspiring writers–for businesses, and for staff/management personnel.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not a licensed counselor. Coaching is not counseling. Counseling seeks root causes of problems in one’s past. Coaching involves emotionally healthy people who need encouragement in moving forward toward their goals.
Dr. MaryAnn is a lifetime professional member in good standing of the Christian Coaches Network International (CCNI).

“Dr. Diorio was very helpful in helping me to reexamine my dreams and to overcome my fears in pursuing them. Her warmth and caring reach very deeply… right into the very spot that hurts in the heart and helps to bring accomplishment out of pain. Her Christ-like example and Godly wisdom help point ones like me–who have gotten too wrapped up in life’s issues–back on the right trail of dreams 🙂 Thank you so very much for taking time out of your life to bless others. You have helped me dream bigger in my diamond business and in my music ministry.” – Melanie L. Wilson (Millville, New Jersey)

“Having a chance to reflect on life goals in the company of someone who takes the time to listen–really listen–was a real treat. Life gets so busy, that I often forget to consider what’s really important when making everyday decisions. The free coaching session helped me focus on my goals and remember to make choices based on those goals.” – Linda Wacyk (Grand Ledge, Michigan)

“Mary Ann’s Free Conference with me was like jump-starting an old car with a dead battery. On a day that rain fell steadily, refreshing our drought-stricken South Carolina soil, her suggestions were just as refreshing for me. They revived long-forgotten memories of avenues for renewing a writing ministry from my home.” – Katherine Rampey (South Carolina)

“I must confess I was not certain just what to expect but assured myself that, by relaxing and leaving it up to you as the ship’s captain, the course of our conversation would bring positive results. And guess what: That’s exactly what happened…. I was left with a feeling of accomplishment and a determination to forge ahead with the Lord always there. Knowing what one desires, how to go about achieving it, and with good counseling, [one] cannot help but produce positive results.” – Roba McCleod (Bridgeton, New Jersey)

“The stresses of an empty nest, caring for my father in the final stages of cancer, dealing with the estate paper work, and working full time as an elementary school assistant principal left me with little time or energy to devote to my goal of becoming an established writer. Mary Ann helped me balance my responsibilities and my personal priorities. She never ‘told’ me what I should do, but helped me to discover what I was allowing to keep me from my goals. Her gentle questions allowed me to see my situation in the light of truth and helped me define and choose to take actions to move closer to my goals each week. Mary Ann is an encourager who sincerely cares about each of her clients. I was most impressed that she began and ended each session with prayer.” – Vie Herlocker (Leesburg, Virginia)

“When I initially contacted Dr. Diorio about coaching, I thought I probably would not use her because her credentials were so outstanding that I felt she would be unapproachable or too sophisticated for my style. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment we began talking I sensed her keen insight and sensitivity to me and to the Holy Spirit. What a marvelous coaching relationship this has been. Hand in hand with Holy Spirit and Mary Ann, I have marched forward into dreams that I have long held, but couldn’t quite capture and bring to fruition. Some thought patterns that have held me back for many years have been dissolved and directions that I have long desired to take have gained clarity like I never expected. I had worked with a coach several years before, but had no idea that the coaching process could be this enlightening and enriching. I cannot adequately express the joy that I am feeling as I move forward in my mission. Mary Ann has become much more than a coach; she is a dear friend on the other side of the continent!” – Marlee Huber (Everett, Washington)

“I had dreams with no direction, no perseverance, no commitment. That has changed after many years, in a very short time. I have been working with Mary Ann … for the past eight weeks…. I cannot tell you how much it has changed my life, attitude, and interest. I have more directed enthusiasm, focus, control of my time, knowledge of what is important to me, and a real understanding of my place with Jesus and His Father; knowing how much He loves me. I have found a calmness of spirit that I have been searching for a lot of years. I am finally on a path where I feel comfortable with me and that has been a long time coming. I have a lot of work to do, but a whole new ‘Jim’ has been revealed to me and, with God’s help, I hope to make him who he has always dreamed of being.” – Jim Connelly (Avalon, New Jersey)

“The coaching was wonderful and very well put together.” – Devata White (Atlantic City, New Jersey)
“I found the group coaching experience (for writers) very rewarding. The initial emphasis of the sessions was on character development, and it was extremely helpful to be reminded that there is a crucial correlation between writing instruction and personal discipline and growth. The information MaryAnn shared on writing, setting goals, and strengthening one’s walk with the Lord [gave me] tools that I will use always, in all things. The encouragement MaryAnn provided is helping me succeed and to walk in what God has called me to do. MaryAnn truly has a gift for encouraging, motivating and inspiring one to be the best [he] can be.” –Karen Lange (Cape May Court House, New Jersey)

“I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you what a positive thing being coached by you has been. I found being coached by you put me in touch with goals and priorities that are really important to me. I’ve really had to think hard about where I’m going and how I’m going to get there. I’ve gained some really useful tools to make life changes that I’ve been trying to make for years! Anything is achievable if you have a clear plan. Being coached has helped me develop a real, concrete plan to become the wife, mother and business woman I want to be. For me, being coached was like having a personal trainer for my mind. Just as when I work out at the gym I always accomplish more with a trainer than I would on my own, I found having a life coach kept me focused on my core values and goals. Because someone was watching, I made sure to stay on the right course. I’ve developed some good habits that will keep me going in the right direction. “From my first conversation with MaryAnn, the ‘free consultation,’ I KNEW she could help me. I was stuck in a rut of indecision, sporadic motivation and lack of direction. Although I sincerely wanted to improve my life, I was not able to ‘get my car out of park,’ as she so lovingly observed! Each session included prayer, thought-provoking questions, and specific assignments that led me to discover (or re-discover) who I am and where I am going at this season of life. The key concepts have become valuable tools that I return to often. MaryAnn is a coach, not a miracle worker. She gave me the equipment, the approach and the encouragement I needed to work my way out of the rut and back into a fulfilling life. Practical skills for practical life is what life coaching with MaryAnn is all about.” –Kim Bunton (Rock Port, Missouri)
