I loved this story. Loretta was an awesome character that learned so much about herself in just over a year but the beauty of her story, was how she learned to put God first in her life, to truly forgive others as God has forgiven her. The Captain & Mrs. Vye is an adventurous story that will bid your attention. MaryAnn Diorio not only has the ability to describe her characters’ outward appearances, but precisely describes their hearts, emotions, motives, and attitudes. This enabled me to identify with some of the characters to the extent that I felt God speaking to my own heart. If you’re interested in a well-written story that will captivate your heart, choose this one! Amazing story of overcoming hardships and learning to rely on God. Loretta Vye hasn’t had an easy life. But, she has never been homeless nor destitute, until her husband dies and leaves her penniless. She is forced to find a home, and a job. Loretta has to learn who she is and what God given skills she has to offer to others. Will she be able to do that and keep body, soul, and spirit intact before its to late?
