Special Blog Post: A Call to Calm Consideration

Warning Signs of the End Times

As I go about my daily life, I’ve been taking a poll among the people with whom I come in contact. Here is the question I ask them: “Do you have a feeling that something huge is about to happen in the world very soon?”  Without fail, everyone says yes

Some expound in detail on what they think is going to happen. Others just express an uneasiness, a concern, a fear.

What about you? Do you have a feeling something major is about to happen on the world scene? If so, you are not alone. I do, too. Here’s why.

As an avid student of world events and Bible prophecy, I see a clear convergence of the two in our day. When I read my Bible in the morning and then read the world news, the information is virtually the same. In some cases, uncannily and exactly the same.

In other cases, my Bible predicts some major events that are shaping up and, according to the way world events are unfolding, these major events may take place in the very near future, like the month of September 2015. God does everything based on the Hebrew calendar.  Here are some of the events that, according to the Hebrew calendar, will likely occur in September 2015:

September 11 or shortly thereafter (Elul 29 in the Hebrew calendar): There is expected to be a major economic collapse either on or shortly after September 11th. September 13th marks the end of the Shemitah year. The Shemitah year was the seventh year in a cycle of seven years during which God commanded all debts be released. If the Shemitah was not observed, the people experienced God’s judgment.

To witness: September 17, 2001 (Elul 29), the market crashed; September 29, 2008 (Elul 29), the market crashed; September 13, 2015 (Elul 29), the market should crash. But it’s a Sunday and the market is closed, so the crash will likely occur either before the 13th or after the 13th. The last day the market is open is 9/11. In both 2001 and 2008, Elul 29 fell on a Monday, so it is possible that the market crash will occur on Monday, September 14th.

September 15th: The UN Security Council convenes. Either on that day or shortly thereafter, France will propose a UN resolution to establish a Palestinian state. This may occur on September 15th, which is Rosh Hashanah, which also happens to be the 60-day deadline for Congress to vote on the peace treaty with Iran. For the first time in history, the United States will most likely not support Israel. Scripture says this about any nation supporting the division of the land of Israel:

“FOR BEHOLD, in those days and at that time when I shall reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem (that happened in the Six-Day War,) I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for their treatment of My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and because they have divided My land.” (Joel 3:1-2, explanation and emphasis mine).

September 14 (Tishri 1 in the Hebrew Calendar): There will be a partial eclipse of the sun which will be seen in the area of the South Pole. In the Bible, a solar eclipse always symbolizes a warning to the nations. There was also a solar eclipse visible at the North Pole on March 20, 2015 (Nisan 1 in the Hebrew calendar). Solar eclipses represent God’s judgment upon the nations.

September 24 (Tishri 10): According to TorahCalendar.com, September 24th is the Day of Atonement aka Yom Kippur. This day marks the end of the 6000th year (or six millennia) since God created the universe. Immediately thereafter, the seventh millennium begins. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ comes back at the end of the sixth millennium or when the 6000th year since creation ends. The 6000th year ends on September 24, 2015.

In Daniel 9:25, Scripture says this: “… that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah, the Prince, there will be seven weeks . . . .” In the Bible, a week represents a year. Seven weeks, therefore, represent seven years. So seven weeks of years represent 49 years. If you multiply this by 360 days in a Hebrew year, that equals 17, 640 days.

Jerusalem was recaptured by the Jews on June 7, 1967 and was restored to them on that day. If we count 17, 640 days from June 7, 1967, we reach September 24, 2015, which is the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). This means, therefore, that Jesus Christ could return on September 24 to rapture (take out of the earth) those who have been born again and have been obedient to Him. All others will remain behind and suffer the atrocities of the Anti-Christ and the Tribulation. Be forewarned!

September 28th: The fourth of the Blood Moons in the Blood Moon Tetrad will appear in the skies on this day. According to NASA, there will not be another tetrad of blood moons associated with an eclipse for another 600 years, and there will not be another tetrad of blood moons all occurring on Jewish feasts for another 1000 years. Moreover, since 1948, there have been three instances of blood moon tetrads all falling on Jewish feasts. Prior to the one in 1948, the last blood moon tetrad falling on Jewish feasts occurred in 1492.

The Hebrew calendar consists of seven feasts, four in the Spring and three in the Fall. The Spring feasts (First Fruits, Unleavened Bread, Passover, and Pentecost) predicted the first coming of Jesus Christ to earth. Every prediction was fulfilled exactly as recorded beforehand in the Bible.

The Fall feasts predict the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to earth. The Fall Feasts are the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), the Feast of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).

The prophecies for Christ’s second coming are now being fulfilled before our very eyes. Do not ignore these signs!

We have been told for years that we cannot know the day and nor the hour of Christ’s return. But we can discern the signs of the time of His return. Let’s read the entire Scripture verse and not just the first part of it: I Thessalonians 5:2-5:

“For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.  (Emphasis mine).

This passage clearly shows that God’s children are supposed to know and interpret correctly the signs of the times. If you are not God’s child, you will be blinded to these truths and will not be able to grasp them because they are comprehended and understood only by a born-again spirit. So, if you want to know the truth, become God’s child and be born again. Click here to find out how to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord:

To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Prepare your heart, for the LORD’s return is imminent.
