Hello and Happy Day! This is Dr. MaryAnn Diorio, Novelist and Writing Coach, welcoming you to another episode of Winning with the Word. Today is Saturday, June 8, 2024, and this is episode #17 in series 2024. This episode is titled, “As in the Days of Noah.”
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ warned us that this world would become saturated with evil shortly before His return to remove His true followers from this earth in the cataclysmic event known as the Rapture. Here are His words as recorded in Matthew 24: 37-39: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Noah was 600 years old when he and his family entered the ark. It took Noah approximately 100 years to build the ark. How do we know this? We know from two verses in the Bible: Genesis 5: 32 and Genesis 7: 6.
We first meet Noah in Genesis 5: 32 where the Bible tells us that he was 500 years old. “After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.”
Then we are told in Genesis 7: 6 that Noah was 600 years old when the great flood began: “Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.” During that period of 100 years, Noah was repeatedly ridiculed as he was building the ark. Since some Biblical evidence seems to show that it had not rained before the flood, people mocked Noah for being a senile and delusional old man.
Yet, Noah kept on moving forward in obedience to God’s command. The world kept going on as usual, and people were completely oblivious to what lay ahead for them.
Our world is living in the same oblivion today. People are marrying, making vacation plans, eating and drinking as usual, totally unaware that something catastrophic lies ahead. Just as in the days of Noah.
Well, how was it in the days of Noah? It was pretty bad. So bad, in fact, that God saw fit to destroy the entire world in the flood. Only Noah, his wife, his three sons, and three daughters-in-law were saved. Only eight people! Only those eight people were permitted to enter the Ark and escaped God’s judgment.
Why? Because they were the only ones whose DNA had not been corrupted by the union of the fallen angels with the daughters of men as is recounted in Genesis 6: 1-4. These unions produced the Nephilim, giant creatures who were part demonic and part human.
The same is happening today. Fallen angels have once again invaded the earth. One of the ways in which they have come is through UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects), now called UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena). The world calls these creatures aliens, but they are really the fallen angels whom God kicked out of heaven together with Satan at the time of the great rebellion.
These fallen angels are now corresponding with humans primarily through artificial intelligence or AI. To give you an example, AI is now supposedly enabling people to contact their dead loved ones. But what people are really contacting are demonic beings, what the Bible calls “familial spirits.” This is an extremely dangerous practice that opens uninformed people to the demonic realm and all of the horror it involves.
So, we are repeating what happened in the days of Noah. We are corrupting human DNA by merging man with machine and creating trans-humans who are part human and part demonic. How is this being accomplished?
Let’s take a look at the definition of transhumanism as listed on the Britannica.com website:
“Transhumanism, philosophical and scientific movement that advocates the use of current and emerging technologies—such as genetic engineering, cryonics, artificial intelligence (AI), and nanotechnology—to augment human capabilities and improve the human condition. Transhumanists envision a future in which the responsible application of such technologies enables humans to slow, reverse, or eliminate the aging process, to achieve corresponding increases in human life spans, and to enhance human cognitive and sensory capacities. The movement proposes that humans with augmented capabilities will evolve into an enhanced species that transcends humanity—the “posthuman.“
Altering human DNA through technology is altering human DNA as God created it. So why is this so dangerous? The reason is that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to redeem human beings, not transhuman beings. This is the reason that the Bible warns that those who take the mark of the beast—which consists of an altering of human DNA through the insertion into the body of some form of a gene-altering substance— such people who take this mark of the beast will be doomed forever to Hell. Once they take the mark of the beast, they will no longer be redeemable because they will no longer be human.
So what are we to do to protect ourselves from these dangers?
1. Be born again. When we are born again, our spirits are reconnected with God and our spiritual eyes are made open to the spiritual dangers surrounding us. If you are not yet born again, I will lead you in a short prayer to be born again at the end of this podcast. So keep listening until the end. Your eternal destiny depends on it.
2. Study the Bible. The Bible is God’s manual for life. He gave it to us so that we would be forewarned regarding evil and so that we would be able to avoid it. The Bible is our spiritual food for our daily lives. It gives us all that we need to stay on the right path throughout our lives and to spend eternity with God.
3. Warn others. As Christ-Followers, we have been given a great commission from Jesus Himself. It is found in Mark 16: 15-18 and says this: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
Are you going into all the world and preaching the Gospel? Are you casting out demons, speaking in tongues, and healing the sick? If not, you are not fulfilling the Great Commission. If you are a Christ-Follower, I urge you to begin doing so now.
If you are not a Christ-Follower, then I implore you to pray this simple prayer with me to become one:
Lord Jesus, I come to You just as I am, a sinner in need of Your mercy and grace. I repent of my sin, Lord, and I invite you into my life to be my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live for You. Amen.
